Dr. Rebecca Bui grew up in Northern California with her mother and two siblings. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry in 1993, she moved to San Francisco to continue her medical research at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco. During that time, she started a part-time job at an optometry practice and found her calling in the field of optometry. In 1999, she earned her Doctorate Degree in Optometry at the University of California, Berkeley. She has since practiced in the Sacramento area and feels privileged to serve the community of Carmichael.
As a clinician, Dr. Bui is board certified by the state of California to diagnose and treat medically related eye conditions. She works closely with Dr. Richard Meister, one of the area's top ophthalmologists, in co-managing cataract, glaucoma, and laser eye surgeries. Dr. Bui is committed to you and your family's total eye health. her goal at Eyedeal Optometry is to treat every patient like a member of her family and patients' needs are her highest priority. |

Our Optician and office manager - "Gulie"

Gulie is a licensed optician in our office with a degree in biology and minor in business management from George Mason University in Virginia. Gulie is available to help you with selecting a fashion forward frame that compliments your features, while at the same time keeping your needs as well as the needs of your prescriptions in mind. She is also able to adjust and repair your glasses or even troubleshoot if there are any problems.
Gulie has great knowledge of contact lenses and is able to train new contact lens wearers in the proper handling and care of their lenses. Gulie has a very personable and outgoing demeanor and can be very friendly and knowledgeable with her 17 years of experience in the field of optics. In her spare time, Gulie loves to read, but also loves to spend time with the family and aspiring to some day be an eye doctor herself. |
